Upcoming ACOS set to be a success

The Autumn Coin-Op Show (ACOS), which takes October 19-20, is continuing to attract influential members of the UK’s Coin-Op, Amusements, and Leisure communities.

Karen Cooke, ACOS organiser, said: “It’s interesting to reflect that across the two days, the ACOS visitor will experience a vast range of products to grow and protect UK Operators revenues for the forthcoming year and beyond.

“I’m amazed at the sheer quantity of products that will be premiering at the show. In ACOS’ early years visitors would be introduced to new products scheduled for release in the forthcoming year. Now manufacturers are choosing ACOS as a UK launch platform its own right.

“The UK Amusements and Coin-Op sectors are emerging from an extremely difficult period but are displaying an impressively resilient spirit. Exhibitors have risen to the challenge, with the ACOS show floor demonstrating that necessity is indeed the mother of invention.”

Who to look out for…

Electrocoin

Electrocoin Sales has been ‘Expanding the World of Play’ since the company’s formation in 1976 and will have a major presence across three stands.

Electrocoin’s John A. Stergides said: “We have a number of products for Single Site, AGC and FEC sectors that are sure to impress operators and provide insight into what will be popular during the forthcoming year.”

Global Lifestyle Brand, Stern Pinball will feature on Electrocoin’s stand, with the UK launch of its latest cornerstone title, James Bond 007. Also on display will be Rush, a new line of pinball machines celebrating the iconic Canadian progressive rock band. These will of course be connected to Stern’s award-winning insider Connected system, which lets players track progress, earn new game-specific achievements, engage with the player community, and participate in promotions and Challenge Quests.

New games on display will include Colour Match and closed loop pusher Hoops Mania, both having performed particularly well on test. Also look out for the popular Skill Shooter, along with Mr Do Air Balls, ball pusher Mr Do Space Rocks, Skill Cut Winner (now in ten colours) and the mini Twin Star crane, plus the carnival ball rolling game Roll a Ball, all perfect for the FEC environment.

Having long been a supplier of choice for Redemption and prize vend games, Electrocoin is also an established ‘one-stop shop’ for ticket management. The latest Galileo Ticket Eaters and POS system are likely to attract a good deal of interest.
