Luna Park, New York City’s largest amusement park, has announced a series of special events and special offers for the 2017 season.
The Coney Island Cyclone, WindstarZ and Thunderbolt are just some of the 40 rides, games and amusements that are now open and among the special highlights of the 2017 season, the park will launch the first-ever All-Day Wristband for the 2017 season, enabling visitors to experience all of Luna Park’s rides throughout the day. The wristband will permit entry to Luna Park from opening until closing, with access to The Thunderbolt, Coney Island Cyclone, Air Race and more. With the purchase of the wristband, visitors can experience as many rides as they like all day long.
The park will host the official launch of its brand-new virtual reality ride, The WindstarZ, which enables riders to feel as if they are hang gliding high above the Coney Island Boardwalk with an interactive motion that let’s riders guide their flight using the direction of the wind.
On Saturday, 25th June it will hold all-day block party on West 10th Street featuring food, games and entertainment acts to be announced. The event will be held in honour of the Cyclone’s 90th Birthday, to be celebrated on June 26.
