Ted Parsons hired as Tigapo director of sales

Tigapo, the cloud-based arcade management and monetisation system, is pleased to announce the hire of Ted Parsons as Director of Sales. Parsons brings over 30 years of achievements in the amusement and entertainment industry to his position.

Most recently Parsons was GM of Helix Leisure USA, the parent company of Embed, a worldwide leader of the cashless business management systems and solutions for the amusement, entertainment and leisure industries and LAI Games, a leading developer and manufacturer of amusement and arcade machines. At Helix Parsons oversaw business growth of 400%.

Prior to Helix, Parsons was vice president and GM of Premier Game Company a company that operated a coin-op game route of over 250 locations including FECs and movie theatres. At Kahunaville, a nationwide chain of tropical themed restaurants, Parsons was director of midway operations, opening and managing high-volume game rooms and overseeing company expansion. Earlier in his career, Parsons was director of family entertainment and amusements for Carmike Cinemas, where he opened family entertainment centres and oversaw installation of games, rides and attractions.

“Tigapo has developed a revolutionary app that is positioned to fundamentally change coin-op payment transactions and drive revenue”, expressed Ted Parsons. “I’m really excited to join the exceptional team that is bringing this product to market.”

Tigapo recently opened US offices and hired Sid Banon, as chief executive of their U.S. operations. Banon, an industry veteran, previously co-founded The Good Stuff Co., a licensed toys and games manufacturer, and Win Stuff, a skill vending machines operator. Parsons reports directly to Banon.

“Ted’s impressive and proven skillset make him a great addition to Tigapo’s rollout initiatives”, noted Sid Banon. “With his depth of experience in cashless payment and amusement, Ted is well qualified to understand the needs of operators and locations.”

Tigapo is currently working with leading arcade operators to roll their solution, an innovative combination of hardware and software designed for coin operated machines into locations in the U.S., which join the company’s international locations.
