SYSTEMS: Senior exec shuffle for Helix Leisure

Helix Leisure, parent company of Embed, LAI Games and The Locker Network, has reshuffled the senior management of its Dallas-based US operations.

Incumbent US general manager, Ted Parsons, is transitioning into the role of group director of Business Systems, a new position in which he will bridge Helix’s business units by “utilising his extensive industry experience and management skills to standardise and continuously improve” the group’s internal policy, ERP and management information systems. The new role is one of many initiatives being introduced to ensure Helix is well positioned to improve its core services and value to the broadening out-of-home entertainment market, said the firm.

As a result, Helix is now actively recruiting for a new US general manager. This person will be responsible for the strategic, financial, cultural, and operational performance of Helix Leisure’s Dallas office, which, in turn, is responsible for the sales, distribution, and support of the group’s products and services in the North and South American markets.

Helix Leisure’s COO, Luke McKimmie said: “Since early 2010, Ted has led Embed’s enormous growth across the US market and was instrumental in the successful establishment of Helix Leisure Group and the subsequent merger of its companies in 2014. We are continually developing our team as we adjust to manage our growth, so we are very pleased to offer Ted this opportunity to have a positive impact by leveraging his skills to the benefit of the entire Helix group.”syst
