SPREE Interactive and I.E. Park Soli Car partner with SALA Entertainment to deploy VR Bumper Car attractions across Saudi Arabia

SPREE Interactive, a global leader in high-throughput virtual reality solutions designed for location-based entertainment, has announced a partnership with I.E.Park, Soli Car and SALA Entertainment, which sees VR Bumper Cars deployed across SALA Entertainment’s estate of FECs in Saudi Arabia. The partnership began last month with installations across multiple sites in Riyadh. SPREE and I.E. Park will deliver the hyper-immersive and futuristic VR bumper car experience, Cyberblaster, to SALA Entertainment locations for Saudi Arabia.

The VR Bumper Car attraction consists of the latest range of NK cars and floor pick-up tracks from I.E. Park, VR tracking and software infrastructure provided by SPREE Interactive (licensed by VR Coaster), and the highly entertaining game Cyberblaster, produced by SPREE in collaboration with Oscar-winning VFX studio PIXOMONDO. The game sees players transported to a Sci-Fi virtual world where they must work together to battle drones and computer viruses that have infected the simulated environment.

“In a world where VR is one of the fastest-growing segments of the amusement market, I.E.Park Soli Car is investing in entertainment solutions that allow our clients to have all-encompassing VR experiences like never before,” said Andrea Munari, I.E Park’s president.  “We want players to foster long-lasting memories as they transport to another world and SPREE Interactives’ sophisticated use of sensors is testament to our continued commitment to adopting advancing technologies.”

The VR Bumper Car attraction is available globally as an upgrade to existing bumper car systems or as a complete turnkey solution. VR Bumper Cars offer location-based entertainment centres a quick return on investment, high-throughput and an addictive sci-fi adventure encouraging return visits.
