Sega look ahead to the Fun Asia Expo 2018

From July 25-26, Sega Amusements International will be exhibiting at Fun Asia Expo for the first time – held at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta. Fun Asia Expo is Indonesia’s largest expo for amusements and attractions industry, and Sega will exhibit its latest games on booth B.

“We are always looking for ways to make it easier for our global customers to experience our games,” said Martin Riley, international sales manager at Sega. “So, for our South East Asian customers, we decided to team up with Fun International to exhibit at Fun Asia Expo. This show has a great reputation and is an ideal gathering point for operators to network and experience the latest amusements games, all in the great city of Jakarta.”

Daytona Championship USA

At the show, visitors can experience a range of amusements games from Sega such as Daytona Championship USA, which features six tracks to play, instant rematch, and state-of-the-art cabinet design. Daytona is designed to be simple pickup for new players but hard to master to suit the challenge demanded by core games.

Target Bravo

Visitors will also get to play Target Bravo, an action-adventure game presented in a theatre cabinet with a 55” display, as well as surround sound and free movement controller. Another featured game is Luigi’s Mansion Arcade, a Nintendo licence that has strong family appeal. In this first-person perspective game, players must catch the pesky ghosts and collect gold coins using the Poltergeist 5000 controller.

Hoopla is Sega’s new ticket redemption game that will also be on the stand. The game continues to perform well in arcades and family entertainment centres globally – players try to hook hoops on all seven pegs within the time limit to enter a bonus round. Then, to win the big-ticket bonus, players have to toss a hoop onto a moving peg.
