PGAV Destinations expands media production studio

Global attraction design firm PGAV Destinations has recently expanded its media production team with the addition of Tony Miceli.

In his new roll as director of media production, Miceli will be overseeing the production and directing of media, audio, and sound for new attractions around the globe, while also developing the business of this team of PGAV and managing outside vendors. Tony and his team’s work is already being developed at the National Air and Space Museum, Virginia Air and Space Museum, and the Georgia Aquarium’s Expansion 2020. Miceli is looking to help grow PGAV’s media production studio in the future to welcome even larger-scoped work, and always keeping PGAVers learning and growing.

“The attractions industry is at a critical, pivotal moment in history, as we collaborate to increase public health and help destinations rethink their operations to protect their guests,” said Mike Konzen, PGAV CEO. “We are energising our media production innovations at this important and exciting stage, and we’re thrilled to have Tony be a part of the creative suite that will help define the tourism experience for the foreseeable future.”

Miceli joins PGAV from Orlando, FL, where he has been deeply engrained in the entertainment industry with Total Media Creative, Electrosonic, Technomedia Solutions, and Universal Creative for many years. His roles and influence span the wide gamut of the attractions world, having directed, produced, designed, composed, written, and managed attraction and entertainment productions alongside Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, and hallmark Universal Studios attractions such as Kongfrontation, Earthquake: The Big One, Men in Black: Alien Attack, E.T. Adventure, and many more.
