LAI Games wins AMOA Innovator Award for Angry Birds Coin Crash

LAI Games has announced that it has won its seventh AMOA Innovator Award, this time for Angry Birds Coin Crash. Coin Crash impressed operators at its debut at last week’s Amusement Expo and is the first tower-building coin pusher available for arcades in the US.

Chris Brady, Vice President of Sales for LAI Games said: “It is a privilege to be associated with our dynamic and talented R&D team, who have now won the AMOA Innovator Award five times in the last five years.” The award recognizes the efforts of manufacturers and suppliers in bringing exciting, new products to market for the amusement and entertainment industry.

The impressive-looking Coin Crash towers are built from the bottom up via a special mechanism that deposits coins in a circle, one layer at a time. Tower heights can reach up to 1200 coins, with multiple towers on the playfield at once, inviting players to come try their luck at winning them.

In addition to the excitement of Angry Birds Coin Crash and winning the prestigious award, LAI Games reported a fantastic and upbeat show, with lots of interest in their other offerings, including the new Slam ‘n’ Jam Ultra basketball game, Toy Frenzy family redemption game, and the new 2-player configuration of Pearl Fishery.
