Kona Bay play area debuts at Hawaiian Falls in Texas
Hawaiian Falls waterpark in Waco has opened a 10,000 square foot new family water play attraction, aimed at families with kids of all ages. Named Kona Bay, the new area is anchored by a multilevel waterplay structure, with ten waterslide experiences and water features.
The $500,000 attraction forms part of Hawaiian Falls’ 10-acre Waco-based park which opened in 2012, operated by ProParks Management Company.
The Hawaiian-themed Waco waterpark covers an expansive 10 acres filled with rides and aquatic adventures, including large-scale wave pool Breaker Bay and six-story slide complex Tempest Tower, with a number of thrilling covered tube slides and freefall body slides. The 800-foot Kona Kooler lazy river and the shaded Waikiki Waterworks spray ground are more suited to younger guests.
