Kidzania closes four parks in Mexico due to coronavirus 

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, children’s entertainment facility creator Kidzania has announced the the temporary closure of its four parks in Mexico, located in Santa Fe, Cuicuilco, Monterrey and Guadalajara, from 17 March until further notice.

In the document released, the company describes the action as “a difficult decision… as it is a family entertainment center with strong social commitment and a deep interest in children.” The firm acts in line with recommended proactive and preventive measures to avoid possible spread of more cases of coronavirus in the country in spaces with concentrations greater than a thousand people.

The statement adds that Kidzania will continue to monitor the development of the evolving situation in Mexico, and that will be attentive to the indications of the Ministry of Health and the rest of the authorities.
