Jan takes on high wire for Hospice Charity

Bandai Namco Team Leader at Wellesbourne Warehouse, Jan Waterhouse, has challenged himself to complete a 135-metre long zip wire to raise money for the Myton Hospices.

The challenge, which is not for the faint-hearted, will take place over the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on July 20th, 2019.

“I have a very personal connection and love for the Myton Hospices, as the wonderful staff there have cared for my own family,” says Jan. “This great charity needs over £9m donations a year, just to cover its running costs – it’s not funded by the government – so every penny makes a huge difference and allows the charity to carry on doing the wonderful work it does.”

Next year Jan hopes to complete the Myton Charity Sky Dive and in the future he hopes to walk the Great Wall of China with his lovely wife, who actually works at and cares for the wonderful people at Myton Hospice, Coventry.

Please help The Myton Hospices raise £40,000 at their first ever Zip Wire challenge by sponsoring Jan here: justgiving.com/fundraising/janwaterhouse1
