HIGH ROPES: New Sky Trail for Hooplas Xtreme

A Sky Trail adventure high ropes course with a 60-foot curved Sky Rail zip line is being installed in the new Hooplas Xtreme Family Fun in Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania.

Hooplas Xtreme Family Fun owner, Robert Roles, purchased the former Bounce Funplex family entertainment destination earlier this year to allow for a major renovation and rebranding of Hooplas Xtreme, which will debut in November. Roles also owns Hooplas Family Fun Center located in Muncy, Pennsylvania.

The Sky Trail ropes course will stand 28-feet in the air and have elements such as turbo stirrups, bird swings, a burma bridge, lily pads and more for participants to traverse. Customers can also zip down the Sky Rail as many times as they want at 8-10mph. Up to 20 people can play on the attraction at one time.

“I’ve wanted to purchase a Sky Trail ropes course for 3-4 years now and Bounce Funplex had the ceiling height to house it. We have nothing like it here in central Pennsylvania, ” said Roles. “We are upgrading the former space and amenities to bring customers a whole new level of fun – quite literally.”

The course will join a collection of family friendly games and activities such as trampolines, one hundred arcade games, outdoor miniature golf, bowling and a toddler zone. Hooplas will add laser tag during phase two of renovations in March, 2018.
