GTI GZ Expo announces dates

China is set to host the first professional expo in Asia-Pacific after the pandemic, with annual gaming and amusement industry expo GTI Asia China Expo 2020, according to organisers of the event.

The 12th GTI Asia China Expo 2020 (GTI GZ Expo) will take place at Hall 1.1-8.1, Area A, China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou from September 9 to 11, 2020. The expo will features five core areas – large-scale amusement equipment, water park equipment, AR/VR/MR, children’s amusement equipment, and video games. 

Covering an area of 80,000 sq m, GTI GZ Expo expects to host more than 600 exhibitors, with a comprehensive array of products. The second China Water Park and Outdoor Amusement Equipment Expo (CWPE) will be held at the same time and place, featuring a number of new exhibitors. 

Since the first GTI GZ Expo in 2009, the show size has increased 800%, organisers have reported, growing from 9,300 square metres to its current size of 80,000 square metres. Exhibitors meanwhile have grown to more than 600, up from 110 in the first show – an increase of more than 500%. The growth rate of overseas buyers visited over the years is 192%. Every year, GTI GZ Expo attracted domestic and international visitors from more than 60 countries to have a glimpse at the newest game machines, indoor and outdoor amusement equipment.
