Foundations Entertainment University dates added for 2016

Foundations Entertainment University will be held on June 14-16 2016 in Chicago, IL and October 18-20 in Phoenix, AZ, with a 3rd date/city to be announced.

Thirteen years ago the entertainment industry’s leading consultants came together to discuss the best way to educate current and prospective family entertainment center owners and just like that, Foundations Entertainment University (FEU) was born.  Today, 37 classes later, FEU is still going strong doing just what it set out to do. Dallas, Texas hosted the most recent class, FEU #37, where attendees came from 8 different states, Brazil and the UK. AMOA President, Jerry Johnston and BPAA’s Kelly Bednar took the full class to gain more industry knowledge and also evaluate Foundations for possible future participation in their own association education programs.

“This is a great business course,” said AMOA President Jerry Johnston. “I would highly recommend Foundations for new ventures or for those upgrading or expanding their current operations.” Johnston went on to say, “More game operators need to attend to gain the knowledge so they can easily expand their business.”

“I have attended multiple conferences since entering the entertainment business and I found Foundations to be the most informative and influential conference to date,” said Keith Daniels, 1 of 4 attendees coming from Rigby’s Entertainment Complex located in Warner Robins, GA. Another Rigby’s attendee, Gracie Preston added, “I am a millennial. The presenters of Foundations reinforced my generation’s driving factors of choice with credibility, data, maturity, and professionalism.”

The 2 ½ day (2 evenings) workshop continues to provide the foundation for
those looking to successfully open and operate entertainment centers all over the world. Graduating Class #37 represented a mix of facilities that included casinos, waterparks, bowling centers, laser tags, children’s centers and game operations, all ranging in size from 10,000 sq. ft. to over 80,000 sq. ft.

“This group was very serious about the industry. Seeing more existing FEC’s and bowling centers attending Foundations validates that even veterans can improve their business and realize that they need to learn how new industry players are continually raising the bar,” said Frank Seninsky, FEU
Co-Regent, and CEO/ Amusement Entertainment Management.

Birthday University will follow the Foundations program. Registration includes 2 ½ days of classroom instruction, an evening field trip to local entertainment centers, an evening of one-on-one consultations with instructors and sponsors, dinners, lunches, a comprehensive manuscript manual and an ‘Articles & Resources’ library DVD. Note that a 3rd Foundations program will soon be announced in conjunction with another educational event.
