Describing the Scandinavian way of life and pure well-being, the Danish word “hygge” is the theme of the new relaxation and sauna area ‘Hyggedal’, which opened at Rulantica waterpark at Europa Park on October 16, 2020.
The new wellbeing area offers 1,000 square meters featuring comfortable loungers, two rustic wooden saunas and a large outdoor terrace.
Hyggedal has space for more than 100 people, with the two textile-free saunas “lille” and “stor” forming the heart of the new relaxation area, located on the upper floor of Rulantica. The spacious and typically Nordic wooden saunas are open to visitors aged 18 and over. Those who want to feel the southern Baden sun on their skin can frequent the 200 square metre outdoor terrace.
Adjacent 4-star hotel Krønasår, meanwhile, has opened a new fitness and sauna area.
