EPIC Entertainment Group partners with Crayola IDEAworks for new attraction

EPIC Entertainment Group has worked alongside Innov8ive Exhibitions and Crayola on an immersive and interactive experience, set to open in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 13.

Crayola IDEAworks first opened at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, and is now heading to Camp North End in Charlotte for the second stop on the exhibition’s worldwide tour.

The colourful attraction, which covers 17,000 square feet, features over 100 physical and digital interactive experiences and challenges, with photo opportunities, colouring, drawing tables and more. During the experience, guests are guided by Crayola Craymojis which are designed to represent different creative styles.

The journey begins at the IDEA Workshop where visitors can enjoy challenges, questions, and puzzles which sharpen their design-driven skills. Visitors can then experience The Colorverse which includes a visit to the city of Crayopolis, the galactic Mars Station, and the underwater SeaBase. At the end of the experience, guests can scan their RFID bracelet to find out what their creative style is, as well as the Craymoji that they are best aligned with.

Steve Sheldon, partner, EPIC Entertainment Group, said: “As creatives ourselves, this is exciting to be a part of.”

“Crayola IDEAworks is an extraordinary experiential approach, encouraging families to unlock creativity.

“We pride ourselves on making every experience EPIC – we’re confident the event production and operation process will be flawlessly executed, making the exhibit an enjoyable, entertaining, and educational visit each time.”
