Embed expands team to boost global presence

Embed, a worldwide leader of the cashless business management systems and solutions for the amusement, entertainment and leisure industries, has announced that it plans to expand its team in order to grow its presence across the globe.

And this requires a superior Sales Function made up of professionals with a proven track record in high-technology and SaaS solutions.”

Embed spent the last quarter architecting its global organisation to meet the ever-growing demands of its customers and the industry. This announcement is the first in a series of exciting upcoming announcements regarding professional appointments.

The leadership of the North America and South America Sales Divisions is powerhouse LaDonna Whitaker, who’s experience in Technology Sales transformation and strategy in Silicon Valley start-ups will serve her well at Embed. In the early part of her career LaDonna was part of the Expedia Corporate division start-up, focused on 1.0 technology sales and bringing onboard other 1.0’s, including a small unknown start-up that turned into an industry juggernaut, Salesforce.com. From there she moved to Virgin America where she led a sales team that signed key accounts and usurped market share from the goliaths in the industry to help propel the little-airline-that-could into IPO status. She learned firsthand the value and importance of culture within a team and company from Sir Richard Branson, who taught her “if I can do that so can you” which was a natural fit for her ambitious and competitive spirit.

Joining LaDonna’s team is Susan Hesson, as sales executive. With over 20-years of sales management and technology experience, Susan has a deep understanding of sales strategy and how to tackle and drive growth. “I am excited by the additional knowledge Susan will bring to the team and how it will elevate the entire Sales function.” Said LaDonna.

Carl Ewaskowitz is joining LaDonna as sales administrator. With over 20-years in event planning and sales administration at many start-ups and travel industry sales, “Carl is process-focused, excellent with customers and can manage events like no other. He’s efficient, reliable and quick to get things done. Carl will be an excellent anchor to the sales team.” Said LaDonna.
