Elaut expands sales team

Elaut Group USA, a recognised leader in coin-operated crane and amusement redemption equipment, continues its growth spurt with two significant appointments.

Paula Rinker has been appointed to a newly created position of merchandise and programs manager. In this role Paula will be responsible for selecting the merchandise that will comprise specific product mixes for the Elaut and Coast to Coast cranes and their crane operators. “Paula has a keen eye for creating plush/toy/candy mixes for cranes!” stated president/CEO Trevor Gianaris. “I was only logical to create this position and have Paula run with it!”

In another sales related move, Elaut Group USA has hired Jeff Tash as a sale representative. Jeff, known for his sales prowess with Raw Thrills/PlayMechanics and most recently with Moss Distributing, brings to Elaut Group USA a seasoned sales professional with street and arcade operator relations that will help assist the company’s distributor network in capturing more sales. “I have known Jeff for quite some time.” exclaimed Tony Maniscalco, EVP sales/marketing. “Jeff’s skill set is a perfect fit with our long-term goals!”

Internationally, Elaut Belgium has added Laurens De Smedt, who will assume the role of business process manager. In this role, Laurens, a 3rd generation Verstraeten, will be responsible for ensuring that business processes are optimised to further the company’s long-term goals. Laurens comes to Elaut from the world’s largest beer company, AB InBev, and holds a master’s in mechanical engineering. “The family is ecstatic that Laurens has decided to join the family business.” beamed Eric Verstraeten, Elaut Group CEO.

Also joining the Elaut International sale team is Brian Castillo Farano. Brian worked his way up from an operator and temp, through admin and project management roles to join Elaut as a sales representative for our European customers, operating out of Belgium. He is excited to join the business of fun and ensure growth of our industry in Europe. “We are looking forward to the many successes and long term relationship Brian will create between the Elaut Group and our customers.” announced Stefaan Vaerewyck, international sales manager, Elaut Group.

Speaking of long-term goals, Elaut Group USA has almost completed their move from Hypoluxo to their 85,000 sq ft facility in Lake Worth Beach. With the three companies, all in one building, Group CEO Eric Verstraeten and Family will have firmly planted roots on American soil. “This is the realisation of a plan that has been in development for many years! It is a very exciting time as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary this month” exalted Verstraeten.
