Here’s all the latest from the upcoming EAG & VAE show, taking place in 2019 from 15th – 17th Jan, including who’ll be attending, what they’ll be showcasing, and what to expect!
Newmans Sales
Newmans Sales makes its debut at EAG at stand 235, showcasing an all-new range of equipment. Amongst Newmans’ line-up of games is a new closed loop two-player pusher, New Star Soccer, and the crane game Treasure Chest that can be configured either as a play to win or a prize every time. A one-or-two-player family fun game, Hungry Mice will also be displayed, along with new kiddie Helicopter ride, and other games for a variety of locations.
World of Rides
At stand 825, World of Rides will be showcasing its brand new Big Car Outlander – a side-by-side seating adventure vehicle for either ‘Parent & Child’ or one or two children on their own over the age of five. Their fully functioning controls allow them to also be operated as Driving School cars, and their independent suspension allow them to be used on moderate outdoor trails, as well as being used indoors.
Battle Star Bumper Cars allows either a ‘Parent & Child’ or one or two children over the ages of eight years old to go take part in a laser-shooting bumper battle. Future Bikes are the only battery rides to have fully working LED revolving wheel lights and ultra violet reflective paintwork, in order to create the most exciting ride available for three to twelve year old children.
And Crazy Beetle 360 Degree Steering is something completely new for three to ten year old children, as the electronic steering wheel can be fully spun in either direction, and where it stops is the new direction that the car will travel. The children never really know which direction they will end up travelling in… so every ride they take is different and full of surprises.
Also making an appearance at the show is one of a new range of Children’s Continental Galloper Carousels. Three horse galloper carousels remain hugely popular with parents, due to their own childhood memories of similar rides, and the combination of the bright LED rounding’s lights and artwork, along with the mammoth fairground organ sound effects, make the ride a nostalgic classic.
Electrocoin Sales
Electrocoin are set to debut Hit& Smash at EAG 2019 – a classic carnival game brought to coin op!
Players must throw the balls and ‘Hit & Smash’ the mechanical bottles, racking up points each time a bottle is knocked down. If players accumulate enough points and exceed the target score, they will progress to the next stage for the opportunity to win the Super Bonus prize.
Extra points are awarded for ‘smashing’ over the smaller bottles – the more points earned, the more tickets (or bigger prize) that can be won!
Two machines can be linked together so players can work simultaneously to win the Super Bonus. Presented with LEDS, bright colours in a durable metal cabinet with storage capacity, the cabinet is available as Redemption or Capsule vend.

eLOQ Security
eLOQ offers operators the ability to audit locks and keys, allowing them to track when staff members access high-value machines. With eLOQ, the operator creates completely bespoke access profiles based on time and dates. As a result, they can control access during set time periods, minimising any unauthorised access.
One single eLOQ key can access 3000 locks and offer up to 200 different time profiles – all linked to an individual. Because of this, operators no longer have the headache of changing locks when a key gets lost in the future.
eLOQ is retrofittable to many environments, with a range of camlocks which are compatible with many current machines. eLOQ also comes in a range of padlocks to secure locking bars across cash doors. The company’s range of door locks gives a further benefit of securing, back of house areas. Because of this, all machines and access points can be controlled with one single key.
eLOQ has secure cloud software which allows the creation of a system bespoke to the operator and the site to meet any locking requirements.

Astrosystems are delighted to be exhibiting once again at EAG International Exhibition based at the ExCel Centre, London in January 2019 (15th-17th January) – stand number 410.
