Creative Works hosts first Amusement 360 Event

Creative Works hosted its first Amusement 360 Event of the year on February 18-20 in Indianapolis. It was the first event since rebranding the program from its original name, LaserTAG360.

The 2.5-day educational conference included brand new content, partners, and presentations, providing the existing and aspiring family entertainment centre operators who attended with guidance on topics including site and attraction selection, operations, hiring, training, marketing, sales and much more. Launched in 2011, the event originally focused on laser tag, but over the years the content has evolved to include a more 360-degree approach to amusement education.

“Our goal is to provide the best tools and resources to empower startups and existing operators,” commented Danny Gruening, VP of marketing at Creative Works. “The new format of the 360 Event allows us to cater to the evolving needs of entertainment operators throughout the industry.”

Jason Barnaby from Firestarters, Inc. gave a motivational keynote to engage everyone and get them fired up. And Marc Wiese from Airway Fun Center participated in an operator interview. He shared insights from his many years of operational experience and answered questions about his business strategies.

In addition to learning from presentations, participants made valuable connections during networking breaks, played Creative Works attractions including Hologate Arena and Esports, and shared experiences with others during meals and social hours. Participants also visited two Indianapolis FECs, Woodland Bowl and Main Event. At these facilities, everyone got the chance to play laser tag and other games, as well as enjoy dinner and social time.

Creative Works has two more Amusement 360 Events planned in 2020: June 8-10, October 6-8.
