Creative Works has been hired by Perfect Game (formerly Drakeshire Lanes) to bring their vision of a Destiny-inspired laser tag theme to life.
Previously known in the Detroit area for its bowling lanes, Perfect Games’ owners Simon and Michael Shearer wanted to create a new, uniquely sci-fi themed attraction. Creative Works further developed this idea into a custom theme inspired by the online video game Destiny. The arena, kitted out with detailed props and mythical murals, supports up to 24 players equipped with phasers and vests supplied by Laser Force.

Simon and Michael saw other traditional bowling alleys in the Detroit area close due to diminished customer traffic. In order to avoid the same fate, they knew they had to add more attractions to their family entertainment centre to remain competitive.
In order to learn how to operate a laser tag attraction, Simon and Michael attended a LaserTAG360 event put on by Creative Works, where industry professionals shared insights on topics ranging from financing and site design, to operational fundamentals and hiring.
Michael and Simon commented: “We first connected with Creative Works at LaserTAG360 with big ideas but no background in laser tag operations. Creative Works was a great partner in taking us from novice to expert quickly.”
