Intercard, a leading provider of cashless technology for the attractions and amusement industries, has completed an installation at the latest Cinergy Entertainment Center in Amarillo, Texas. It is the fourth Cinergy location to use Intercard technology.

The Amarillo Cinergy Entertainment Center covers 90,000 square feet and offers 18 lanes of upscale bowling, laser tag, virtual reality and 4D attractions, escape rooms and a fully-loaded game floor with more than 100 interactive games and a redemption center. It also features 10 movie auditoriums with the latest seating, projection and sound equipment. There are two full-service bars and a variety of dining options including in-theatre dining.

Intercard cashless technology is an important component of Cinergy Cinemas’ operation, which is 100% cashless.  “No money ever changes hands between guests and staff members,” says Jason Mitchell of Intercard’s North America sales team.  “Intercard and the Vista POS system are interfaced very well here, and the Vista kiosks can take Intercard cards as payment.” In the future Cinergy plans to integrate Intercard into its new Elite customer loyalty program.
