Organiser Tureks International Fairs aims to bring together key attractions and recreation industry stakeholders in February for the 8th ATRAX trade show (Attraction-Parks-Recreation Exhibition), including investors, game and equipment manufacturers, event organisation companies, tourist facility owners, municipalities, shopping mall managers and architects among its expected visitors.
ATRAX expects to attract professional visitors from all over the world, showcasing the latest innovations, technologies and services at Istanbul Expo Centre between 13-15 February 2020.
The amusement park and recreation industry in Turkey has continued to grow, with a number of new projects announced. Increased interest from municipalities, hotels, shopping malls, residential complexes, tourism investors, sector-related buyers from the region, theme park and amusement park owners and businesses, has seen the industry grow with two digit figures, according to a release by Tureks .
Happy Cities
This year, with a theme of “Happy Cities”, ATRAX will prioritise attraction and recreation projects that create more opportunities for socialising and activities and focus on the happiness of city residents.
In addition to the investments made by the private sector, the focal point of the process of developing “Happy Cities”, are the local administrations and their projects, as municipalities build ever larger and more versatile themed recreational areas.
Also new for 2020, ATRAX will be organized concurrently with Vending Machine Technologies and Self-Service Systems Exhibition Vendex this year.
By organizing simultaneously, ATRAX and Vendex aim to offer more business and collaboration opportunities with increased visitor potential, and also to create closer links between the two sectors.
The exhibition will be sectioned based on categories and sectors, with Hall 10 mostly featuring vending machines, while Hall 11 will showcase amusement parks, theme parks and attraction centres.
