The FEC Success Institute will return June 8-9, 2021 as an in-person event. Hosted by manufacturer of rides and attractions Amusement Products in Chattanooga, TN, US, this will be the 25th year that the training program has been conducted after being cancelled for the last year due to COVID-19.
“With the increasing availability of vaccinations and loosening of COVID-19 restrictions, it is time to return to live, in-person educational events. We feel strongly that it is time to move forward with training the next group of successful FEC operators.” said Dutch Magrath, president of Amusement Products and Sir Goony’s Fun Centre in Chattanooga, TN.

As both the president of one of the largest manufacturers for FECs and the operator of a 60-year-old family entertainment centre, Dutch Magrath has experienced the effects of two recessions and the shut-down of both businesses by state mandate due to COVID-19. During this past year, he has stayed in contact with operators all over the world as he managed his businesses through this latest crisis. His unique perspective and insight to how FEC’s have survived and how some have thrived during COVID-19 will help attendees understand better why the FEC business is a great opportunity even during bad economic times.
The FEC Success Seminar is a pre-approved course for IAAPA’s certification program. All attendees will be awarded a certificate of completion for 14 credit hours at the conclusion of each seminar to be applied IAAPA certification.
