Aquatic Development Group (ADG) has announced that its work as design/builder on Soaky Mountain Waterpark (Sevierville, TN), America’s only new waterpark to open in 2020, has won the World Waterpark Association’s Leading Edge Award for 2020.
ADG designed and built Soaky Mountain Waterpark including, not only the building of all water features, but also assuming the role of construction manager for the full park build. Built during the wettest year of Sevierville’s history, and through a worldwide pandemic, this park build is a testament to the construction team’s ability to adapt and see projects through to completion, even in the toughest and unprecedented circumstances.
Soaky Mountain features a number of the leading ride and design innovations, and is home to several industry-first attractions and a new modern-design approach.
