ACOS returns to Chelsea for third fixture

October 12-13th 2016 will mark the return of The Autumn Coin-Op Show to Chelsea Football Club for its third outing. Although a comparatively young event, the two-day show has already established itself as a pivotal fixture in the UK amusement industry calendar.

Organiser Swan Events’ Karen Cooke explains: “From the outset, ACOS was intended to be a very relaxed event at which industry members could compare notes on the summer’s trading, as well as catching first sight of new products destined for launch in the busy winter expo season.

“Our industry has always had an affection for West London and the West End and Chelsea Football Club has proved an excellent venue. Access to Chelsea is good, there is plenty of parking and the area enjoys a wide choice of hotels and restaurants. The staff at Chelsea Football Club have been exceptionally welcoming and helpful towards our exhibitors and visitors,” confirmed Karen

With the 2016 show already a sell-out, the ACOS formula is clearly working and Karen has no plans to change it: “The coin-op industry has really taken ACOS to its heart and we will stick with the current arrangements for as long as it suits the industry. This year we’ll be welcoming new exhibitors, including Bandai Namco Europe, Sega Amusements International, Heber Gaming, Espresso Essential and Quixant,” she revealed.

Sega Amusements International’s Justin Burke is looking forward to the company’s presence at ACOS, saying, “The two years we have attended The Autumn Coin-Op Show as visitors have shown it to be a well-attended and well-organised event. We’re delighted to confirm that for 2016, Sega Prize Europe and Sega Total Solutions will be exhibiting at ACOS.”

Espresso Essential Regional Director, Rhian Gordon, is expecting a busy show: “The UK coin-op industry has already demonstrated a strong interest in the lucrative additional revenue stream that Espresso Essential can deliver. We’re looking forward to sharing a coffee with visitors to the show,” anticipated Rhian.

Also expecting a busy show is Simon Rose, Business Development Manager at Heber, saying: “We’re really looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s Autumn Coin-Op Show and seeing all our existing customers as well as meeting new ones. We will be highlighting our high performance Pluto A400 UHD gaming controller, our XTouch through-glass button switch, our best-selling X10i USB I/O gaming controller, and our dual video Pluto 6 embedded control system.”

John Malin, Sales Director at Quixant UK commented “The UK market is very important to our business, and to participate at the Autumn Coin-op show is a must in our show calendar. It offers the perfect opportunity to showcase our range of all-in-one board solutions and an excellent environment to network with our customers.”

First-time exhibitors will be joining a host of industry-leading companies, many of which have supported the show since its inception.
