Abu Dhabi’s upcoming $1bn Reem Mall, has signed a leasing agreement with Majid Al Futtaim Ventures, to operate 202,000 sq ft of leisure space in the new shopping centre.
The agreement will see the business bring a range of leisure and entertainment destinations, including the region’s first standalone, themed, indoor snow park
It is the first time that Majid Al Futtaim Ventures has announced an indoor snow entertainment concept outside of its own shopping malls, building on the success of Ski Dubai over the years, and Ski Egypt, which opened in Cairo’s Mall of Egypt earlier this year.
The bespoke 125,000 sq ft Abu Dhabi snow attraction will be a dedicated snow park and is set to include a variety of activities and experiences including sledging, zorbing and luge.
The entertainment offering will make up almost 202,000 sq ft, which accounts for 10 per cent of the total mall space.
