A bumper line-up at ACOS 2018

2018 sees the fifth edition of The Autumn Coin-Op Show take place at Olympia London, and with a fresh new image, new home, and new exhibitors, ACOS continues to match the dynamism of the industry.

ACOS exhibitors range from established industry brand leaders through to new entrants to the market, plus everything in between.

The London Future of Immersive Leisure (FOIL) will run alongside ACOS this year, focusing on the business opportunities presented by immersive technology to the UK’s out of home entertainment industry, with particular focus on the amusements and coin-op sectors.

“We held the first 2018 FOIL event in Las Vegas earlier this year. It was a wide-reaching event covering every aspect of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, with conference sessions focused on hardware, software, traditional and new markets and the opportunities for commercial exploitation of these exciting technologies.

The London Event will be a more streamlined and targeted affair, looking at current trends and experiences within the UK and the practical aspects of introducing immersive technologies into leisure venues, both large and small.”

At ACOS, Playsafe Systems will be demoing new programs on their stand, including Performance and CashDeck. Playsafe Performance is a cloud-based program configured to deliver key site data quickly and easily from a mobile device. The home screen consists of a dashboard showing the accumulated weekly and Year To Date (YTD) performance vs previous month and years. Performance reports section allows you to monitor performance by individual site location or operator.

CashDesk enables operators to manage the flow of cash on site. The program has been designed to keep track of cash in the cash desk, refills, hand pay-outs, claims, refunds and promotions. CashDesk removes the dependency on paper records, automatically storing an audit trail for better transparency/reporting and saving staff a great deal of time

eLOQ security develops access control solutions, and has turned its attention to the amusements and gaming sectors. At ACOS, the company will be introducing eLOQ, an intelligent smart key system for locks and padlocks, designed to eliminate the operating nightmare of lost keys and unauthorised access to machines.

“We’ve had a very positive reaction from the industry so far. We understand that operators will inevitably be cautious about what is effectively, disruptive technology, but they will appreciate the enhanced security and potential cost savings. We’re looking forward to meeting operators and site owners and demonstrating eLOQ in operation on live machines.”

“We are looking forward to exhibiting at ACOS for the first time; it will be an amazing opportunity to meet with clients, both existing and prospective, and to showcase our products and services that are already loved within the gaming industry.”
