50,000-square-foot Main Event eatertainment location opens in Texas

A 50,000-square-foot FEC ‘eatertainment’ facility called The Main Event is set to open in Pasco County, Texas, US.

The Main Event combines a restaurant and bar with games including  bowling and laser tag

A spokesperson told the Tampa Bay Business Journal that the venue will limit capacity, has limited bowling lanes, spacing among video games, placed hand sanitising stations throughout and has limited seating in the dining room, among other safety measures.

In addition to bowling lanes and a multilevel laser tag arena, The Main Event has a 20 foot high gravity ropes course and zipline, billiards, and a games gallery featuring over 130 interactive and virtual reality games.

LAI Games favourite VR Rabbids is among the attractions on offer, in which players choose from themed rides before being plunged into the crazy world of the Rabbids – full of twists, turns, thrills and spills, for an all-ages VR attraction, 

Linked challenge play video games and life-sized classics like PAC-MAN and Galaga are also included in the arcade line up.
