Picsolve announce new projects and partnership with Merlin

Global Village Dubai
Picsolve has announced a series of new contract extensions across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, and the company has also become the sole content capture partner of Merlin Entertainments’ new attractions in China; as well as the luge track at Eden Valley Ski Resort in South Korea and the iconic Global Village Dubai.

With both Merlin and Picsolve sharing growth strategy ambitions for China, Picsolve has been selected as the partner of choice by Merlin Entertainments to create immersive and interactive environments for visitors at five new destinations: Shanghai Dungeon, Peppa Pig World Shanghai, Legoland Discovery Centre Beijing, Peppa Pig World Beijing and Little Big City Beijing.

The partnerships further cement Picsolve’s international expansion across the Asia-Pac region and reinforce the company’s reputation as market leader. All attractions will be using Picsolve’s innovative green screen and grey screen technology to power visitor experiences in the region’s newest destinations. In addition, Picsolve’s patented Experience Wall, which provides a seamless capture experience for visitors, will be at both Madame Tussauds Shanghai and Bangkok, making the first sites with Experience Walls in Asia.

Following successful existing partnerships with multiple Merlin Entertainments attractions in the Asia-Pac region, the partnership with Picsolve also includes a series of multi-year contract extensions. The announcement sees Picsolve continue to work with six Madame Tussauds attractions, two Sea Life Centres and three Legoland Discovery Centres across Thailand, Japan, China, Korea and Hong Kong.

The Eden Valley Ski Resort, Yangsan, is in South Korea’s South Gyeongsang Province, boasts the world’s longest luge track, measuring 2.2km. Picsolve’s ride photography technology will capture visitors as they race down the luge track, and its innovative green screen will ensure guests can capture the moment through a choice of printed photography options.

In the Middle East, as part of a multi-year deal with Global Village Dubai, Picsolve’s ride photography will capture visitor experiences as they enjoy the destination’s London Loop rollercoaster and the Miami Surf water ride. Roaming photographers will also capture guests at the carnival and throughout the themed pavilions, whilst Picsolve’s innovative green screen technology will feature at the entrance of the major rides and attractions.
