Oman’s first Sky Trail has opened in Muscat, Oman. The two-storey Trampo Extreme structure contains 21 different elements, including a 60ft Sky Rail, constructed by Ropes Courses.
Located directly above the Scoot ‘n Skate zone, the Sky Trail is loaded with challenges such as swinging steps, a zig-zag rope bridge, a seven-foots and-alone beam, lily pad stepping stones, a rolling log and other obstacles that put balance and concentration to the test.
With its cross-section of challenges stretched over 80ft, the Sky Trail can accommodate up to 30 people at the same time. Children and adults are outfitted in a harness and single redundant sling line that keeps them secure while they navigate through, over and under elements thanks to RCI’s U.S. overhead tracking system.
In addition to the new Sky Trail inside Trampo Extreme, visitors can tackle the different Clip ‘n Climb walls, each with its own unique obstacles, or suit up in a special sliding suit and helmet for a ride down the Drop Slide.
Directly beneath the Sky Trail, the Scoot ‘n Skate zone offers beginner and intermediate terrain for scooter and skateboard riders, the Twister Tunnel offers an indoor caving zone with more than 590 ft of underground tunnels and caverns to explore, and there are indoor soccer areas, a trampoline, dodgeball zone, and junior play area filled with soft toys, slides, and tunnels is ideal for little ones. For children 10 and older, a Ninja zone features rings, swings, ropes, and nets for testing and practising Ninja warrior-style skills.
“The Sky Trail makes an immediate impact as customers walk into Trampo Extreme! Since we opened, it’s been one of our most popular attractions,” reported general manager for Trampo Extreme, Craig Ogilvie. “Children and adults alike are really enjoying the varied challenges Sky Trail features. We went with a double level Sky Trail and a 33 ft high Sky Rail, which has proven to be even more appealing than the single level one we installed at our Kuwait location in 2015,” Ogilvie continued. “Ropes Courses, Inc. attractions were a natural addition to our trampolines and Clip ‘n Climb activities,” he concluded.
