Superbowl UK readies delayed Ipswich centre

£1.8m venue will have assault course, soft play, amusements...

Superbowl UK will open its latest venue in Ipswich in March 2018, after originally scheduling the opening for August this year.

The £1.8million venue will have 12 bowling lanes, a ninja tag active assault course, children’s indoor soft play, an amusement arcade arena, a food diner and a lounge bar.

Director, Kate Quaintance-Blackford, said: “Superbowl UK Ipswich presents us with an exciting opportunity to extend our distinctive brand of family entertainment in Suffolk, where we believe it will prove extremely popular.

“We are one of very few companies in the UK offering a range of high quality facilities under one roof and, because of that, we’re very confident about the success of the new site here in Ipswich. The Buttermarket has recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the centre and we’re excited to be a part of its future.”

It will be the firm’s seventh centre, joining others in Newport, Merthyr Tydfil, Cardiff, Widnes, Macclesfield and Hull.
