Sega set to launch ATV Slam at EAG 2019

From January 15th to 17th at the London ExCel, visitors to EAG will be able to check out and play Sega’s latest launch; ATV Slam.

ATV Slam takes All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) racing to a new level, and with custom developed air cylinder-based motion platform, players experience the most realistic ATV racing ever.

Players use the accelerator on the quadbike handles to race to the finish line, and can boost, avoid obstacles, drift and perform stunts for flair and those all-important upgrade points. The custom developed motion platform lets players experience all the bumps and jumps just like being on real ATV bike, and air cannons give that “wind in the hair” experience.

Five race characters and five different upgradeable vehicles are on offer, each with different power and design. Race across ten exotic environments from dusty Cribb’s Canyon to snow-covered Iceland as well as a downpour in London; there are plenty of courses for every ability.

ATV Slam uses the Unreal Engine. This industry-leading game engine delivers a realistic sense of speed, lighting, physics and razor-sharp console quality graphics. This software technology with high-end graphics hardware on a huge 47” FHD LED display lets players have a truly immersive experience.

Unique ‘Artificial Intelligence’ system makes the game competitive by adding up to seventeen AI opponents. Live face detection cameras, realistic bike control system and clever “rubber-banding” makes the game fun for casual and core gamers. Three exciting game modes and bike upgrade system encourages repeat play by letting the player take on opponents once again.

“ATV Slam features a sensational cabinet that will wow players in any location. Featuring a life-size quadbike with huge back wheels, chrome engine compartment, stylish liveries and scintillating LED lighting effects from top to bottom attracts players’ attention. We can’t wait for our customers to experience this incredible game at EAG later this month,” says Justin Burke, general manager at Sega.

Don’t miss a chance to experience ATV Slam and other leading amusements games at EAG. Sega will be exhibiting at booths 550 and 560 from 15th to 17th January at the London ExCel.
