Reasons to register for ACOS 2018

This year’s ACOS event comes with a fresh new look, more exhibitors than ever, and a new venue – the Olympia London – and this year’s event is set to be particularly busy.

The last-minute switch of venues has had a positive outcome, and show organiser Karen Cooke has confirmed that Olympia will now be the show’s home for the foreseeable future.

“The fifth ACOS is due to take place on 3rd and 4th October and I’m pleased to report that visitor registrations are already significantly ahead of this time last year. The industry has really got behind ACOS, to the point where the show is now a must-attend event for anyone in the UK’s coin-op or amusements sector, be they manufacturers, operators or owners of single site or multiple leisure destinations.”

One of ACOS’ unique qualities is its focus on the UK; all vendors and visitors will be focused on the UK market for amusements and coin-operated equipment.

ACOS sits at the end of the summer season and prior to the large shows in the New Year; the perfect time for meeting-up with industry colleagues and catching first sight of new products showcased by manufacturers. Networking is an important component of any industry event and with a 100% focus on the UK, this is particularly true of ACOS, with organisers taking care to ensure that the show remains the perfect opportunity for comparing experiences and exchanging ideas in a relaxed and sociable setting.

“The show has traditionally hosted a networking reception and I’m delighted to confirm that this will take place at the end of the first day, immediately after show closes. We’ve taken over the Albion Pub, located on Hammersmith Road right opposite Olympia. The Albion is a comfortable and traditional pub; perfect for continuing those show-floor conversations. Entry may be gained by showing an exhibitor or visitor badge and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone.”
