Laser tag and virtual reality added to Urban Air Adventure Park

Urban Air Adventure Park recently hired Creative Works to install two Hologate virtual reality (VR) attractions and a custom laser tag arena in Orange, CT, their largest facility.

“Our first team of employees – 130 plus of them who came in for orientation yesterday – got a tour of the facility,” said Urban Air owner, Lakshman Paidi. “We are finishing cleaning and so Hologate was covered up and they did not see it yet. However, the kids were blown away by the laser tag arena! In their words: ‘This is sick!’ A couple of the boys who had a sneak peek told the rest of the crowd that was waiting as each group walked through: ‘This is worth the wait, you will see!’”

The Orange, CT location is the first of their 50+ locations to install a custom laser tag arena designed specifically for the Urban Air brand.

“Urban Air is committed to delivering amazing experiences to their customers,” commented Armando Lanuti, president of Creative Works. “We worked closely with their team to create an incredible laser tag attraction that will enhance their guest experience. We can’t wait to see how guests react to this immersive arena.”

The 3000-square-foot arena has a futuristic battle theme where players can tag enemy players or their home bases, with laser tag equipment provided by Delta Strike.

The Connecticut Urban Air Adventure Park, the first in the state, had its grand opening on July 14.
