KristallTurm continues overseas drive with Japanese project

German high ropes specialist KristallTurm is continuing its international expansion, having just completed its first African venue, a new venture in Japan is now under construction.

The high ropes course in Sagamihara, close to Tokyo will feature 90 climbing elements, an event platform, two observations decks, a floor platform and a giant swing. The KristalltTurm workshop produced special poles for the site, that will withstand an earthquake.

The high ropes course is built in the leisure park Sagamiko Pleasure Forest near Tokyo.  It offers the combination of amusement park and outdoor facilities such as camping and barbecue area.

It follows the recent completion of the first the first KristallTurm in Africa at Port Harcourt in Nigeria.

The 12-pole installation with 69 climbing elements and an event platform is located in Port Harcourt’s Pleasure Park, a public recreation area. After its completion, the leisure centre is going to offer a shopping mall, a children’s playground, a mini golf course and a lake where visitors can rent a pedal boat. It is due to open in April.
