During this year’s Lumiere Awards, Hologate – a multi-user immersive media platform – won the award for best location-based entertainment.

Presented by the Advanced Imaging Society, the event was held in the Steven J. Ross Theater on the Warner Bros lot in Burbank, and recognises outstanding international achievement in the creation of immersive storytelling using advanced visual technologies like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, High Dynamic Range, Stereo 3D, 360 Video, High Frame Rate, Artificial Intelligence, Real-Time Rendering and more.

Hologate creates multi-user immersive media platforms for location-based entertainment that easily integrates with venues like family entertainment centres, laser tag, bowling or cinemas. Playing in the Hologate is active and physically engaging. High-end VR headsets, premium content and our core technology guarantee the best virtual reality experience available. The game slots are timed for a 10-minute gameplay, the most preferred time for a multiplayer experience.
