Gravity eyes European expansion

Property advisor on-board to help with European plans

UK-based indoor trampoline park operator Gravity has commissioned Savills to advise it on its planned expansion into mainland Europe.

The company wants to open new sites in markets including Italy, Spain, Germany, France and Poland. The firm is looking at large-scale leisure schemes, shopping centres and retail parks, looking at areas sized from 1,400 square metres to around 2,800 square metres.

“We look to partner with the landlords and developers of major retail and leisure schemes and venues and see the Gravity offer as an integral part of the overall leisure mix”

“Our property strategy has been a key part of our success to date. We look to partner with the landlords and developers of major retail and leisure schemes and venues, and see the Gravity offer as an integral part of the overall leisure mix. This is in contrast to the cost-focused, standalone approach adopted by many local or less brand focused operators,” said Harvey Jenkinson, the CEO of Gravity.

“We will advise Gravity and provide the tenant with an analysis of the Polish market. Indoor trampoline park operators are already present in Poland, but the role of entertainment in shopping centers is rising, which creates an opportunity for companies interested in offering such services,” commented Krzysztof Wyrzykowski, a senior leasing manager in the retail agency of Savills.

At the moment, Gravity is present in six locations across the UK.
