Go Ape brings high ropes adventures to Haldon Forest Park

Plans to open a new high ropes course for 6-12 year olds in Haldon Forest Park, near Exeter, have been approved by the Teignbridge District Council.

The new course will operate next to the existing Go Ape ‘Tree Top Adventure’, boast zip lines 200m that fly 200m in the air, 14m climbing walls, and a number of high-speed zips and free-fall Tarzan swings.

“The proposed development would extend an existing outdoor recreational facility within Haldon Forest Park to make it available for a wider age group thereby enhancing the existing facility and promoting healthy communities.” said council officers. “Taking into account the design, scale and location of the proposed works as well as potential increased visitor numbers, the development would not have a significant effect on the area or protected species and would not have a significant impact on highway safety.”
