The first permanent attraction of its kind in mainland Europe, Mattel Play! Sevenum, officially opened its doors in the De Schatburg resort Soft launch success for Angry Birds World. Mattel Play! Sevenum is part of the larger ‘Family Entertainment Centre Sevenum’, and the play area of more than 2,000m2 that will attract families from the local area as well as the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
The attraction, which took over a year to build and construct, features iconic Mattel characters and brands including Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, and MEGA, all of which are hugely popular with European family audiences. The immersive play experience allows children to experience the world of these characters and through the power of storytelling and imagination enjoy an engaging and interactive experience.

Mattel Play! Sevenum is the third Mattel Play! location to be opened after successful attractions Mattel Play! Liverpool and Mattel Play! own Dubai launched in 2016. These attractions were built and are managed and operated by Heritage Great Britain PLC and Meraas respectively.
