Two new categories have been introduced to this year’s Park World Excellence Awards in order to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the FEC sector.
- FEC Attraction of the Year – Best new attraction within a Family Entertainment Centre
- FEC of the year – Family Entertainment Centre – any annual attendance
This is a first for the awards, and the additions mean that now, even more of the amusements industry has the opportunity to get involved in what promises to be another stand-out awards ceremony.
Event Director Paul Ryder comments, “FEC’s have evolved massively in recent years, from small indoor play areas adjacent to restaurants and shopping centres to larger scale entertainment and/or edutainment venues that appeal to the whole family. And whether standalone businesses or bolt ons to theme or amusement park offering, as a leading event within the EMEA attractions industry, we feel it’s vital to to honour the outstanding contribution that FEC operators, manufacturers and suppliers make to the entertainment industry as a whole.”
Launched in 2018 by Park World publisher, Datateam Business Media, the Park World Excellence Awards is open to operators, suppliers, manufacturers and entertainment specialists across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with exciting stories to tell.
